Verification only means something if you know exactly what was checked. This explains the two kinds of listing on VisaMarket, where ratings come from, and the limits of a badge.

Two kinds of listing
A verified listing has submitted business registration and office documentation, and our team has checked the business identity, address, contact details and the services it claims to offer.
Unverified listings are directory records built from public business information. They are shown because they are real businesses users search for, and they are labelled clearly so you know the difference.
Where ratings come from
Star ratings labelled Google come from the business's own Google Business Profile. VisaMarket ratings are separate and are only generated from customers who completed a booking through the platform, so a new listing shows no VisaMarket rating rather than a borrowed one.
What verification does not mean
Verification is an identity and legitimacy check on the business. It is not an endorsement of quality, not a prediction of your visa outcome, and not a guarantee against a dispute. Verification is also time-bound and re-checked; a badge can be withdrawn.
Reporting a problem
If a listing shows wrong information, or a consultant behaves in a way that breaches our terms, report it from the profile page. Payment disputes for bookings made through VisaMarket are handled under the refund and dispute terms published in the Legal Centre.
