Payment Terms

Version 1.0
Effective 2026-08-09· Applies to Everyone

In short: How payments, fees, taxes, receipts, failed payments and chargebacks work on VisaMarket.

Fee components

Before you pay we display the consultant service fee, the VisaMarket platform fee where applicable, applicable taxes, any discount and the total payable. Government and embassy fees are never bundled into consultant fees and are paid separately to the authority.

Processing

Payments are processed by our payment gateway. VisaMarket does not store card numbers, CVV, PIN or banking credentials. Processing is tokenised and provider-hosted.

Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only after the payment is verified. If a booking cannot be reliably confirmed, we do not accept payment.

Receipts

Every successful payment produces a receipt with booking ID, customer, consultant, service, date, amount, taxes, platform fee, consultant fee, payment status and transaction reference.

Failed and duplicate payments

Failed payments do not create a booking. Duplicate payments for the same booking are refunded to the original payment method.

Taxes

Tax treatment is configured per service, provider and location: [ADMIN CONFIGURATION REQUIRED — tax configuration].

Commission and settlement

Where VisaMarket collects customer payments and settles funds to consultants, the commission rate, settlement schedule and adjustment rules are set out in the Consultant Agreement: [ADMIN CONFIGURATION REQUIRED — commission rate].

Chargebacks

If a chargeback is raised, the related booking and settlement may be placed on hold while evidence is collected and the payment provider reaches a decision. Raising a chargeback is not treated as an accusation of fraud against either party.

VisaMarket is an independent marketplace. We are not a government agency, embassy or visa-issuing authority, and we cannot guarantee visa approval or processing times. Visa decisions are made solely by the relevant authority. Read the full disclaimer.
